Udmurtia

The flag of the Udmurt Republic consists of three vertical stripes in black, white and red with a red eight-pointed solar symbol centered on the white stripe. Black symbolizes the earth and stability, white represents purity and the spiritual world, while red signifies life, the sun and celebration. The solar symbol is a traditional emblem of Udmurt culture and protection.
