Myanmar Burma
The national flag of Myanmar consists of three horizontal stripes in yellow, green and red with a large white five-pointed star in the center. Yellow symbolizes solidarity, green represents peace, tranquility and the country's natural environment, red stands for courage and determination, while the white star signifies the enduring unity of the nation.
Myanmar officially adopted its current national flag on October 21, 2010, replacing the previous design used under the State Peace and Development Council. The tricolour and central white star reflect national unity and the country's modern identity.
