Tasmania

The flag of Tasmania is a British Blue Ensign featuring the state badge, a red lion passant on a white disc. The lion symbolizes courage, strength and Tasmania's historical ties to the British Crown, while the Blue Ensign reflects the state's colonial heritage.

The current flag of Tasmania was officially adopted on September 25, 1876. It has remained the official state flag ever since and is one of Australia's oldest continuously used state flags.
