Sark
The flag of Sark is a white field with a red St. George's Cross and two gold lions in the upper hoist canton. The cross reflects the island's historical links to England, while the lions are derived from the arms of the Duchy of Normandy, representing Sark's Norman heritage as part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
Sark officially adopted its current flag on April 4, 1997. The design combines English and Norman symbols to reflect the island's constitutional status as a self-governing Crown Dependency within the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
