Crimea

The flag of Crimea consists of three horizontal stripes in blue, white and red, with the white stripe being significantly wider than the others. Blue symbolizes honesty and hope, white represents peace and the peninsula's diverse peoples, while red reflects courage, resilience and the region's historical heritage.

The current flag of Crimea was adopted by the Supreme Council of Crimea on September 24, 1992, and reaffirmed in 1999. It has continued to be used by the local authorities since then. The status of Crimea is internationally disputed, with most UN member states recognizing it as part of Ukraine while Russia administers it as federal subjects.
