Tajikistan
The national flag of Tajikistan consists of three horizontal stripes in red, white and green with a golden crown and seven stars centered on the white band. Red symbolizes unity and the nation's independence, white represents the country's cotton production and snow-capped mountains, while green reflects agriculture and nature. The crown stands for sovereignty and the Tajik people, and the seven stars symbolize perfection and good fortune in Tajik culture.
Tajikistan officially adopted its current national flag on November 24, 1992, following independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. The design retained the traditional red, white and green colors while introducing the crown and seven stars as symbols of the new republic.
