Tuva

The flag of the Tuva Republic features a light blue field with a golden Y-shaped symbol outlined in white. The blue represents the sky and the Turkic peoples, gold symbolizes wealth and Buddhism, and white stands for purity and peace. The Y-shape represents the confluence of the Bii-Khem and Kaa-Khem rivers, which form the Yenisei River.

The Republic of Tuva officially adopted its current flag on September 17, 1992, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The design reflects Tuva's cultural heritage, natural geography and status as a republic within the Russian Federation.
