Seychelles
The national flag of Seychelles consists of five oblique bands in blue, yellow, red, white and green radiating from the lower hoist corner. Blue represents the sky and the Indian Ocean, yellow symbolizes the sun, red stands for the people and their determination, white signifies social justice and harmony, and green reflects the islands' lush vegetation and natural environment.
Seychelles officially adopted its current national flag on January 8, 1996. The dynamic design replaced the previous flag and symbolizes a young nation moving confidently toward the future while embracing unity and diversity.
